Michele Philips Reifer

Gosh, reading through all the class of 85's bio's I feel like I've done very little!

I left NY after 2 years at SUNY Cortland. When my Dad retired from the Army, I followed my folks to Atlanta and finished up my Communications degree at Mercer University. My degree was delayed about a year, as I was activated during Desert Storm. I got the news that my unit was being deployed while I was on a trip to WP to go to Holly Fishburnes ring weekend. It was all very surreal. Being stationed in San Antonio was probably one of the best experiences for me. I worked for 8 months in a hospital tending to sick children as well as the Labor and Delivery ward. It was a very good experience and I am grateful to have been able to serve.

I think I am the only person I know that HATED Atlanta and the south all together. I guess I am just a Yankee through and through! I moved to the DC area because two of my best friends lived in the area, Judie Mulligan and Kelli Ripperger. I began working for Enterprise Rent-A-Car as a Mgt. Trainee and (slowly) moved through the training program. I met my husband Eric while working as the trainer. Lots of perks being the company trainer having first dibbs on all the cuties that came through the door. So, out of the 398 people I trained I picked him! I now work in the HR dept. as a recruiter. I spend most of my days mining the internet on hotjobs and monster trying to find desirable candidates to interview. I have one son, Ethan, who is 5 years old. I'm excited about our 20th reunion and look forward to catching up with some old friends.

Greg, I'm gonna have to get back to you on a family photo! I think I'm the only person I know who doesnt have a family photo!
